Autonomous Boats
The field of transportation is getting advanced day by day in many
countries and those places and waterway rich cities where the canals run
alongside and under the bustling streets and bridges. It also includes
autonomous boats which carry goods and people as well as helpful in clearing up
the road congestion.
Now a step forward has been taken by the researchers with Private M Tech
Colleges in Jaipur towards the
future by designing the fleet of autonomous boats which are offering high
maneuverability along with precise control. These all boats can also be 3D
printed by using a low cost printer and making the huge manufacturing more
feasible.
These autonomous boats can also be used by the taxi people around and
also for delivering the goods and for easing the traffic. The researchers are
also envisioning that in the future, these driverless boats can be adapted to
perform city services overnight rather than busy day light time.
In addition to this, it can also reduce the congestion on the roads and
canals. As per the researchers, through these autonomous boats, shifting some
of the infrastructure services which usually happen in day on the road such as
deliveries, garbage management or waste management can be done to the night on
the water by using autonomous boats.
Along with this, these boats have been equipped with sensors along with
microcontrollers and GPS modules with hardware which could be programmed in
order to assemble into floating bridges etc. some of these activities which
generally take place on land and cause disturbance in moving of cities can be
performed on temporary basis on the water.
These autonomous boats can also be equipped by Best EngineeringCollege in Kukas with environmental
sensors in order to monitor the water and gain the insight into urban along
with human health. These new findings of the researchers have been published in
many news papers.
It details about the various essential new innovations such as a rapid
fabrication technique along with a more efficient and agile design and advanced
algorithms which are helpful in precision docking and improving control. In
order to make these boats, a 3D printed tool has been used by the researchers.
