3D Printed Houses

Recently, the development of 3D printed houses has been done by the researchers, which has gained a lot of attention from the users. There are many reasons for it which include the involvement of the printer as well as it also went up from start to finish so quickly as it takes less time to print and then it can add more time for the windows as well as the roof.

For this purpose, a robot printer has been used by the researchers with Private M Tech Colleges in Jaipur in order to print layers from the floor upwards to form the walls. The results of this technology are very efficient in five rooms with the rounded walls. Through this technology, a family has also shifted in the 3D printed home consisting some of the family members in France.

By developing this technology by Best Engineering College in Kukas, it is envisioned by the researchers that it could reduce the cost of construction of such houses in coming years by 25%. It is expected by the researchers that the prices of the 3D printed house will go down and the main reason behind it is that the technology will undergo refinements, as well as the economics of scale, has also been expected as more houses are built.

It is the house with the 1022 square feet which was built in order to curve around the many years’ old protected trees on the plot as per the researchers. It is essential in 3D printed for construction as this is the far solution in shape as well as a creative experience which opens up for architects in order to think outside the box of straight walls in the traditional constructs.


The today’s limits are glaring in the traditional public house as units of residents look more confined prison cells which are blocking out the natural outdoors. The researchers told that 3D printing is enabling the sufficient solution n terms of the shape of the house along with more interesting possibilities for the architects in comparison to working with straight walls. Curves are not sufficient for the eye but it has some practical benefits.
