No More Chronic Pain by Being Hungry

According to the researchers, the brain has a way in order to suppress chronic pain when an animal is hungry as well as it allows them to go look for food while leaving intact the response to actual pain. The pain can be valuable as without it, we can let our hands linger on the hot stove but in case of longer lasting pain such as inflammatory pain which can occur after injury, it can be the debilitating and costly as well as preventing us from finishing our essential tasks. But in natural setting, the lethargy has been triggered by the pain which could even hinder survival.

According to the researchers with Private Engg Colleges in Jaipur, their work has highlighted a small population of 300 brain cells which is a group of neurons through which targets for novel therapies can be offered. In neuroscience, the task of study of one behavior at a time can be done easily. The research team has studied hunger so the neurons can be found by them that make us hungry as well as manipulate those neurons along with monitor their activity. But in the real world, these things are not simple as we are not in the isolated situation where we are only hungry.

The main idea of this research of Best Engineering College in Rajasthan was to try in order to understand that how an animal integrates multiple needs in order to come to a behavioral conclusion which is optimal. But the goals have not been set out by the researchers on the expectation that hunger would influence pain sensation so significantly. But when these behaviors have been unfolded before the researchers, it made sense.

It does not matter that if you are an animal that has the injury but in order to survive, you need to be able to overcome and go for finding the nutrients in order to survive. This work has been published in many news papers. The team of researchers has focused on the study towards hunger in the particular way that how hunger can alter the perception.
